We now are a T-Ball family. Leah seems to enjoy it a lot more than soccer, but that can be because all of her friends are on this team.

Not to much to say
I really have not had to much to say lately. I know that is hard to believe if you know me.
I am delving deep inside myself to re-examine a lot. Me, my relationship with others, my reactions to situations. The only way to make things better is for me to fix me.
I will admit I am a broken soul right now. Ever since this Fibromyalgia came into my life I feel like I have been in a tornado. But I will get out of it.
It will just take me some time. Some friends will stick by me some will not. Some family will stick by me and some will not. I have to take those chances because I do not like the new person I have become.

Awards
There is so much good in my life to go with the chaos in it. One of the Greats is my daughter. She received an Academic Achievement Award from school. I am a very proud mom!

An Old Irish Blessing
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
Happy Saint Patrick's Day.

Autoimmune Diseases
As we know I have Fibromyalgia, which is not an autoimmune disease. I finally have an answer to some of my questions. Why do I get a fever everyday? Why am I exhausted when I haven't even done much? Why does my body get this aching feeling?
The answer is I have an autoimmune disease, it's called Chronic Epstein-Barr. Also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
"Chronic fatigue syndrome, or CFS, is a debilitating and complex disorder characterized by profound fatigue that is not improved by bed rest and that may be worsened by physical or mental activity. Symptoms affect several body systems and may include weakness, muscle pain, impaired memory and/or mental concentration, and insomnia, which can result in reduced participation in daily activities."
I will find a way to deal with this. One way is to get what is called an Immune Globulin Injections. Every couple of weeks. It is supposed to help with my immune system. My body is basically attacking itself. There are days, I sure do feel that way, as well.
This is not a problem that will go away anytime soon and no real answer as to what will help me. But I'm going to do my best to help myself.

Answers...Please
I just want an answer.
I have had so much blood work, so many MRI's and other procedures. I am just so tired of being poked and prodded with no answer to what is going on with me. Fibromyalgia is not a good enough answer, why, because there is no solution to this illness, syndrome, or disease. I am not even sure what to call what I have.

A Little History
My mom believes all my problems started when I was just a baby. Right before my First birthday I came down with a high fever of 104, at times 105. I was in the hospital for almost 1 month. I had Rheumatic Fever. Then soon after going home I had seizures everyday until I was 3 years old. None since.
I always seemed sick growing up. Headaches, stomach aches, bruised easy, tonsillitis and fevers. I was at the doctors a lot. They just always told my mom that I was a nervous child. When I turned 14, that is when I started to get Migraine headaches. Once I got pregnant at 35 the migraines have lessened.
Let’s see, what are all my ailments; endometriosis, (with multiple biopsies and cervical freezing’s) irritable bowl, colitis, interstitial cystitis, TMJ, early menopause, shingles, staph infections, chronic myofascial pain syndrome, osteopenia and the above mentioned problems. I might have forgotten something, since my memory is also not as good as it used to be. See another ailment!
Now I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I guess it makes sense to me. I do wonder at times “Why Me, what did I do to deserve this?” But that gets me nowhere. So, instead I am trying hard to stay positive about the symptoms. Some days are easier to cope with them than others.
But at least I am trying.
