We went to our annual visit to the pumpkin patch at Lombardi Ranch. Leah got her face painted this time. She picked a spider on her cheek!

Saying Goodbye

Had to say goodbye today to a wonderful man. From the first time I ever met him, he made me feel like a part of the family. It was an honor to have been able to know him. May he rest in peace.

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland yesterday. It was so much fun. We were so relaxed there and Leah was so well behaved and patient.

Grandma Day

 

 

Grandma (mom) came over today to play with Leah. They played in her playroom and then we went to Chuck E Cheese.

Twilight

I am starting to read the Twilight series. I am not a huge fan of the movies. But, so many of my friends said the "books" will get me to like the movies. I am willing to give it a shot. So, tonight I start Twilight.

Concerts in the Park

We went to the Santa Clarita Concerts in the Park. It was so much fun. The music and people were great. My friend Julie and her baby Madison came. It was quite hot out at first, 100+ but we braved it anyway.

Date Night

So, tonight we are having a date night. My parents are watching Leah for the night, fist time she will be away from us all night. So, we decided to go out to a nice dinner. An Italian place called The Cavi at Big Oaks.

We need this alone time.

Descanso Gardens

We went to Descanso gardens on Saturday with my brother. It was my first time there and I loved it. It is so peaceful and beautiful. I took a lot of pictures, so many different flowers and plants to see. Leah so enjoyed her time with her uncle and the flowers.

I will certainly have to go back soon.

First Haircut

I took Leah today to go get her first (official) haircut. She loved it.

Kathryn

I have dealt with Kathryn's death in a much better light lately. I am now celebrating her life instead of mourning her death. On the 2 year anniversary of her death, I got together with good friends to celebrate her life. They all love her as much as I do. So that was so nice.

Long Time Gone By

Wow, it has been a while since I have posted anything here. Well, let's see if I can start this again. I need a good place to put down all my thought's, since I do not always do it verbally anymore.

Things have been tough, but I have dealt with it all better than I thought I would. One reason is Leah. She keeps me very grounded in life. There is nothing more important than her!

Work has not changed. I need to find a higher paying job, but no luck so far.

Here is Leah now. She is in Preschool. At a Catholic school no less.
