Autoimmune Diseases

As we know I have Fibromyalgia, which is not an autoimmune disease. I finally have an answer to some of my questions. Why do I get a fever everyday? Why am I exhausted when I haven't even done much? Why does my body get this aching feeling?

The answer is I have an autoimmune disease, it's called Chronic Epstein-Barr. Also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

"Chronic fatigue syndrome, or CFS, is a debilitating and complex disorder characterized by profound fatigue that is not improved by bed rest and that may be worsened by physical or mental activity. Symptoms affect several body systems and may include weakness, muscle pain, impaired memory and/or mental concentration, and insomnia, which can result in reduced participation in daily activities."

I will find a way to deal with this. One way is to get what is called an Immune Globulin Injections. Every couple of weeks. It is supposed to help with my immune system. My body is basically attacking itself. There are days, I sure do feel that way, as well.

This is not a problem that will go away anytime soon and no real answer as to what will help me. But I'm going to do my best to help myself.
