Went to the Getty Center and took some pictures.

Sad Thought

As I was washing the dishes tonight, I started to think about my menopause. All of a sudden I got very emotional, I just realized that I may not be able to have any more kids. That my miscarriage in 2009 might have been my last chance.

I know I have a wonderful, gifted daughter. Believe me I am so very thankful for her. But, I really wanted another child. Tonight, I just realized how much.

I have to think logically though, it most likely will not happen for me.

40th Birthday

We went to Mucho Mas! I had a BLAST!

I'm 40

I am now officially 40....Over the Hill! I am OK with that really. Other then the fact I found out I am now also pre-menopausal! 

Hot flashes, night sweats, missed periods, and mood swings! My fertility is also in question. 

I really wanted to try for on more child. Looks like I have to really work for another one now. The doctor did not say it "could never happen" just would be harder. 

Everything is OK. I just really do not like the mood swings...........

Long Beach Aquarium

Went to the Long Beach Aquarium with my good friend Michelle and her daughter Katie. It was a great day!

Sunand-Tujunga Canyon

We spent some family time at Sunland-Tunjunga Canyon. Leah loved walking in the dirt and throwing rocks into the running water. It was a nice day out.

Things I want to do this year!

I am turning 40 this year! Wow, crazy! So there are things I have been thinking that I want to do this year!

1. Lose weight
2. Go on a vacation (cruise, Disneyworld etc.)
3. Teach Leah to read
4. Try and learn to relax more
5. Take a Photography class
6. Keep my house clean
7. Have more Mommy time with girlfriends

Let's start there and see what else I can come up with.
